Responsibilities:

• Akamai Kona - Fast DNS, Edge Redirector, CPS, CPcodes, Property Manager, EdgeHostnames, Global Traffic Management, CDN configurations, WAF, DDOS, Bot Protection.
• Create and Manage New Azure VNET,NSGs, site to site VPN connections and Peerings.
• Create and Manage Traffic Managers.
• Create and Manage Azure Key Vaults – perform yearly key rotation as a security best practice.
• Performing Regulatory compliance checks in Microsoft Azure Defender and fix all Minimum mandatory safeguards. (Based on industry standards)
• Cloudflare WAF configurations.
• Perform Security Validations before and after major project releases.
• SSL certificate Procurement and management.
• Perform Review on Microsoft Defender Recommendations and thereby improving security score.
• Review and close security alerts in Defender periodically.
• Review and Report Common Vulnerabilities reported in client owned sensor platform
• Security operations on kubernetes, apim, azure active directory, logic apps, container registries.
• Incident management using Logging and monitoring of web traffic and metrics.

Client: Leading Oil and Gas Manufacturer

Responsibilities:

• Managed Security Infrastructure across Client Datacenter hosted in a Microsoft Azure Cloud and Century Link cloud.
• Design and implementation of security infrastructure for new website launches( IP, SSL, DNS, WAF, LB and CDN setup).
• Managed Firewalls in Azure Cloud/CLC as per Client request. Configured NSG rules in Azure cloud VENTs and Subnets. (Allow only required IPs and Ports for secure communication between VNETs.
• Configured Azure Traffic Manager to route traffic between two Data Centers located in different Geo location.
• Established new Site to Site VPN connections from Azure VPN gateway to Client Firewall.
• Integrated Powershell script for monitoring Site to Site VPN Tunnel, VNET Peering and Azure Traffic manager status using Run Books.
• Configured VNET peering and Azure Load balancer based on requirement.
• Create/Modify LTM (Local Traffic manager), APM (Access policy manager) and ASM (Application security Manager) profiles in Big IP F5 based on requirement.
• Managed URL redirects by using I-Rule service in BIG IP F5.
• Configured F5 to perform SSL offload, session affinity, high availability using health probes.
• Managed SSL certificate for websites hosted in project by coordinating with Third Party Certificate Authorities like DigiCert.
• Managed Client websites in Akamai Property/CDN setup and using Akamai Fast DNS configuration for faster resolution and improved performance.
• Performed Firmware upgrade and Hardening of firewalls periodically.
