- Determine time and date when each operation is to commenced and completed, it includes the scheduling of machines and all other requisites of production.
- Prepare master scheduling, the breakup of production requirements by keeping in view the order or likely sales orders in near future.
- Take inputs from post order section for customer commitments.
- Share final delivery date with post order based on master scheduling.
- Arrive at accurate monthly production plans and daily production plans to all production sections, issue production order accordingly.
- Arrive at monthly procurement plan and requisitions for purchase section.
- Arrive at monthly dispatch plan and daily final dispatch instruction.
- Review master production schedule and work orders,urgent deliveries, service requirements.
- Ensure tracking status of every single customer order on an ongoing basis.
- Revise schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines and equipment.
- Coordinate with concerned section to remove possible obstacles in the way of smooth production.
- Check progress in an ongoing manner with all concerned.
- Track movement of sales order all the way to dispatch, with a view ensure customer satisfaction.
