Taught and trained students for CAT and other management aptitude tests’ verbal ability section. Responsible for helping students in comprehensive CAT preparation - from creating a study plan and strategizing for the exam to preparing them for the GD&PI and other aspects of the second phase of the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide students of both CAT 23 (regular batches 3 and crash batches 2 – a total of 186 students) and CAT 24 batches (regular batches 5 and online batch 1 – a total of 200 students)
• Cater to class sizes ranging from 35 students to 150+ students in various batches and workshops.
• Conducted 100+ mock interviews in January 2024.
• Create and deliver the creative writing segment of MICAT. In charge of the creative writing segment of MICAT preparation at Ahmedabad.
• Prepare and deliver WAT and AWT sessions.
• Deliver additional workshops and Maximiser sessions for all batches at the center in the last lap to CAT sessions.
• Deliver engaging and creatively designed lectures to both build a base and enhance students' English aptitude.
• Prepare study plans, monitor students’ performance, and offer course correction when required.
• Help students from vernacular medium to improve their English and build the foundation to tackle English for aptitude tests and interviews.

Key Highlights

• Two students with 99 percentile scores from the CAT crash batches.
• Enabled students under my mentorship to score 95+/99+ percentiles in various aptitude tests including, CAT, XAT, NMAT, and SNAP.
• Consistently ranked among the top 10 mentors across India by IMS India.
• Scored a 99.48 in the CAT 2023 verbal ability section after a five-year hiatus from CAT verbal ability training and teaching.
• Placed second-best faculty/mentor overall at the center in my first year with IMS Ahmedabad.

Drawing on my experience with TIME CAT training and wishing to widen my area of expertise in other exams, I taught and trained students for IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, and SAT (old test). Started with delivering highly engaging lectures in the first year and from the second year onwards took on additional responsibilities of creating tests, hiring, and training junior academic staff members. I was responsible for helping students achieve high scores for both their academic tests and general training test scores. I underwent multiple training sessions conducted by the British Council and IDP Australia to ensure that my delivery was in alignment with the changes and improvements in the examinations and evolving score demands of various nations.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivered 7+ lectures daily to batches ranging from 50 to 180 students in each lecture.
• Taught thousands of academic students and hundreds of general training students.
• Responsible for conducting interviews and hiring junior teachers and student tutors three to four times a year.
• Responsible for all new teachers and student tutors’ training, as well as their lecture and time scheduling in multiple shifts.
• Contributed to lecture planning and scheduling based on student requirements and feedback.
• Created a series of weekly tests for GMAT and GRE students to enhance their preparation.
• Deliver engaging lectures to batches with a varied mix of high-school students, college students, and working professionals in the same batch.
• Adopted a methodology to ensure that all the components of these tests especially Writing, and Speaking were given equal weightage.
• Helped students enhance their inter-sectional learning to ensure a holistic learning of the language.
• Assessed the speaking and writing skills of students after their weekly mock tests.
• Ensured that students from vernacular medium gained enough proficiency in English in a short period for them to gain adequate scores in their target exams.

Voluntary Initiatives

• Created a syllabus for SAT (old version) from scratch, including lesson plans for regular and crash batches, tests, and put together a bank of all past SAT papers (both USA and outside USA) for the students to practice in the last weeks before their actual SAT.
• Created and delivered a series of highly engaging lectures on SAT analytical essay writing along with a bank of practice essay questions, including both old exam and new essay questions.
• Ensured countless general training test takers could achieve the minimum 7+ bands in the Writing and Speaking sessions by creating and delivering special sessions on these two aspects of the English language.

Delivered lectures for CAT and management tests’ verbal ability section. Also delivered lectures for CLAT and Bank PO test aspirants. Handled counselling, student guidance and participated in conducting short aptitude workshops and seminars in various colleges in Surat.
