I am a passionate woman who constantly strives to achieve the right balance and advancement for all three: art, architecture, and people. My interest extends beyond the four walls that are commonly thought of as architecture and encompasses a wide range of vistas that seek to comprehend how emotions and people are expressed via art, design, and architecture. With regard to safety and security, especially for women, my educational background has helped me understand the critical role that designed spaces can play in people's lives and their emotions. This was the subject of my thesis, which I thoroughly researched, and my most recent participation in the Kochi Muziris Biennale has deepened my understanding of how adaptable humans are. A piece of art created by an artist elicits a different emotion in every person who sees it, and certain aspects of a work elicit a similar emotion, which gave me insight into how even people with very different life experiences can be affected by design and art. This is what I hope to accomplish as a person and an architect: to design spaces that make everyone who experiences them feel peaceful with a spark of curiosity and concern for others.
