  • Worked with platform experience team and Payments Team.
  • Collaborated in creation of Unacademy Store, where users could buy individual batches instead of entire courses. This resulted in significant revenue and growth.
  • Set up entire store micro service in GO, to facilitate faster response times (nearly 60 percent) and allow independent and continuous fast paced development.
  • Did complete solutioning for enabling recorded content in store. Kept design very similar yet independent to existing process and flow, allowing new developers to instantly understand and collaborate on project.
  • Part of small team that launched product within 4 weeks which enabled unacademy as marketplace for educators which generated revenue of 2.5 cr in 2 months of launch.
  • Created feature to provide time driven discount for courses by independent educators on our platform. Discount would start whenever business team would want and automatically end on selected date automatically with help of cron job.
  • Played vital role in separating out payment and subscription microservice from monolithic code by decoupling code dependencies between payment and non payment apps in backend.

  • Created central events pipeline for backend so any number of clients can pick up and consume events as per their requirements.
  • Created Gamification model. With this students would get points on performing tasks like finishing tests or watching classes. Points would then be showed on leaderboard, used to track engagement and make business decisions based on this data.
  • Created real time performance report feature which output performance of student in graphical format with key metrics like attendance, test results, class room behavior.
