- Monitoring testing and conducting PPM: Take follow-up of Pre-Production meeting with supplier (factory) and monitoring all Lab-Testing to ensure Goods are produced according to Brand required standard
- Stitching line evaluation: Visiting factories for technically evaluation for every station of stitching line at the time of initial production pilot-Run production and provide my suggestion to factories for better method and machinery to be use in production for better quality
- Safety Standards: Take regular follow-up safety standards polices like Needle policy, scissor policy and Button pull strength policy for Kids wears to Women’s wears
- Providing guidance to the factory: While conducting factory audit, will providing required Suggestion to the factories and take follow-up and ensure implementation about method, Machine, material and skill improvement for better quality
- Conducting inspection regularly: Visiting factories for Inspecting the goods on a regular Basis during production by conducting inspection like Pilot Run inspection, initial, midline, pre-final and final inspection as per the AQL-15 and 25
- Co-ordination with buyers: Communicating regularly with the buyer regarding Approvals and any quality issue via mails and VC meetings
- Co-ordination with 3rd Party inspection agency: - Our Brand also working with some of the 3rd Party inspection agency for our Brand product inspection, and 3rd Party inspection agency appointed are Bureau Veritas & SGS, I am planning all the 3rd party inspection after discussion with the team and factories, if my team and or I can’t travel to the factories
- Self-inspection and other Training: - I am provide training to the factory’s quality team for the self-inspection if supplier preform good in past, and some training like AQL standard, inspection method, production follow ups, daily T&A production and inspection plans etc
- Factory evaluation cum compliance: Responsible for evaluating the factory as per Buyer quality standards and to make sure all required quality systems/parameters are being followed properly, Factory must have all kind of infrastructures and machine for required to produce as per Brand standard from fabric to final product
- Responsible for setting up process control and continuous monitoring the same against required standards
- Supplier development - Capacity, Capability, KPI review etc
- Support business in costing and negotiations
- Supplier mapping - right supplier for right product
- Logistics support - aligning service provides, container forecast, negotiation with service providers, vessel monitoring
