• Weekly Payment follow-up upon shipment arrival.
• Working under London Metal Exchange(LME) live pricing system Aluminium and Copper material like Talk, Taint Tabor, Terse, UBC.
• Monitoring, review & control of shipping docs from overseas customers.
• Controlling acknowledged copy of shipping docs to the client & maintaining summary of buyer and supplier in time frame of shipments.
• Involvement & support to the team on commercial matters.
• Risk analysis, verification & validation of PO/SO from importer and exporter.
• Managing commercial compliances with respect to payment policies, credit norms, review of payment.
• Day to Day shipment follow up from supplier also inform the details to the buyer.
• LLME based pricing of commodities. i.e. Ferrous Non-Ferrous.

• Explore and Business development of new international markets, generate buyer leads and convert them to clients.
• Promote company products in the existing markets and in new markets.
• Sales order processing in accordance with PO/LC/agreed terms which includes checking LC, draft BL, PI processing.
• Understand new trends of the global market, find and meet new prospective clients.
• Sound knowledge of exports related Compliance & procedures- FTP / Inco terms.
• Negotiation for spot rates with shipping lines / forwarders for shipment.
• Managing logistics, planning & negotiating with transporters & C&F Agents for cost effective transport solutions & clearances.
• Appointment of C&F agents, Trailer operators, Container surveyors and Inspection agencies.
• Co-ordination with Production and Planning functions for planning and dispatches of Finished Goods.
• Tracking of shipments at all levels and advise the status to Customers until arrival at the destination's port.
• Develop and implement new initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key geographical areas across the globe.
• Manages all banking & logistics for export activities and prepares required documents.
• Manages the export process (Documentation pre and post shipment) and ensures compliance with India and foreign government laws and regulations.
• Sharing copy of documents with customers upon shipment, as per agreed timelines.
• Generation of MIS/Performance reports pertaining to Export Logistics.
• Ocean Freight Rate analysis -Monthly.
• Coordination for all deemed export orders execution with team/ backend/ plant/ customers and arrange proof of exports after shipment dispatch.
• Manage and prepare all original documents are dispatched timely and tracking shared with customers after submission to the bank.
• Processing sample requests, dispatching to customers and sharing the tracking and following up for due payments.
• Liaise with external agencies like DGFT, Customs, Central Excise, Export Inspection Agencies, C&F agents, Truck operators, Insurance Company, Shipping Lines etc. for smooth exports / import operations.
• Good understanding of Ocean Freight price movements and preparation of annual budgets & reporting of logistics related costs.
• Tracking all BRC, DBK and RoDtep status and follow-up from DGFT and ICE Gate for timely processing.
• Export data / sales review preparation on monthly basis maintaining and updating order sheet, shipment sheet, outstanding sheet, or any other export reports.
• Managing all the Logistics Operation from the Point of Loading i.e. either Factory or ICD points to Point of Departure.
