PROJECT 1: Realization of Reflective Semiconductor optical amplifier Based DWDM Bidirectional-Free Space Optics System (M-Tech Project), Category: Free Space optics, Software used: OptiSystem 16.0 Simulation tool, Description: In this project, we have implemented the Reflective semiconductor optical amplifier based DWDM bidirectional free space optics system using OptiSystem 16.0 tool. The implementation of this optical communication system is cost-effective because we used the Reflective Semiconductor optical amplifier as a laser source in this system, so there is no need for an additional high cost laser source. For approximately 400 meters distance, we created the communication connection for short range and observed the signal transmission for uplink and downlink. So we can deploy this link system where the physical connection is not possible.
PROJECT 2: Solar Powered Grass Cutter (Lawn Buddy) (B.E Project), Description: The machine has proved to be a possible replacement for the gasoline powered lawn-mower. Solar Powered Lawn Mower project is more suitable for a common man as it is having much more advantages i.e., no fuel cost, no pollution and no fuel residue, less wear and tear because of less number of moving components and this can be operated by using solar energy.
