- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the paint shop, including paint mixing, surface preparation, application, curing, and quality assurance processes.

- Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.

- Build and lead a high-performing team of supervisors, engineers, technicians, and support staff, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.

5. Quality Assurance:

- Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures to ensure that painted components meet or exceed customer expectations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Implement quality improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions to address any deviations or non-conformities in paint shop processes.

6. Process Optimization:

- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste elimination within paint shop, leveraging advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and best practices.

- Drive efficiency improvements in paint application methods, material usage, cycle times, and environmental sustainability initiatives

• Responsible for Electrostatic Liquid Coating on Plastic ABS Components, PT-CED Coating, Powder Coating for Sheet Metal Components
• Implementing effective techniques to bring efficiency in operations to improve quality standards & achieve maximum cost savings.
• Developing new process concepts for production optimization, yield improvement and developing guidelines for the sequencing of manufacturing activities.
• Identifying areas of improvement and recommending process modifications and equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiencies of the systems.
• Preparing SOPs and Training manual for All the Lines Liquid PT CED Line, Powder Coating & ABS Paint shop.
• Reviewing the operational practices, identify the areas of obstruction/ quality failures and work on system and process changes for qualitative improvement/ energy conservation.
• Implementing cost saving measures & technical troubleshooting to achieve substantial reduction in terms of man days, production cost, raw material & energy consumption.

• Responsible for handling Manual Painting as well as Robotic Painting Line

• P aint shop P rocess V alidation.
• S kill enhancement & T rainings to workmen ( S pot R epair, L oading, U nloading & P ainting A pplication).
• D evelopment of paint shop P roduction T ools & Consumables (Direct & Indirect Materials)

• Responsible for Robot Programming/Teaching (Motoman XRC, NX 100 & DX 100).
• Responsible for Vaccum Metalizing Machine Operation.
• Monitoring 4 M i.e. m an, m achine, m ethod & m aterial to meet production targets.
• Implementing PSCs, Quality flash and Work instruction for different products to make operator literate about the process & customer demand.
• Active participation in TQM activities held in organization.
• Analyze OEE & PPM (using various QC Tools) & ensure it should be in specified Targets.
• implementation of 5'S' & Kaizen on the shop floor.
• Implementation of any changes or improvements in the process by the help of P rocess S equence C harts ( PSCs ).
• Ensuring the assembly lines should run as per C ontrol P lan by maintaining the documents related to assembly lines.
• Reduce official C ustomer C omplaints by analyzing the problem & finding the root cause (using tools like OMCR, 7 QC tools etc.)
• S kill e nhancement & t raining of the operators.
• TPM Policy Deployment and target setting for individual cells.
• Work out plan to promote individual cells and track the progress of each cells.
• Coordinating steering committee meeting, circle meetings for promoting small group activity.
• OEE calculation and tracking of losses.
• S kill e nhancement & t rainings about JH pillar.
• Conducting regular audits and feedback to Pillar head on TPM progress activities.
