Description: Played a key role in the development, maintenance, and customer support efforts for the Virtual Volumes (vVol) replication feature, enabling efficient data replication and disaster recovery capabilities for VMware environments. Responsibilities included:

• Managed vendor relationships, resulting in streamlined communication, timely delivery of services, and cost savings.
• Developed and enhanced the vVol replication functionality, ensuring seamless integration with VMware's vSphere Virtual Volumes (vVols) architecture and IBM's storage systems.
• Collaborated closely with VMware engineering teams, ensuring compliance with VMware's Storage Replication Adapter (SRA) framework and aligning with their product roadmaps and release cycles.
• Provided technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance to customers, addressing complex issues related to vVol replication, SRA integration, and storage system compatibility.
• Identified, analyzed, and resolved critical customer-reported bugs, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely fixes and software updates.

Project: Configuration and Management of IBM Spectrum Virtualize 3-Site Replication with Failover Standby Orchestrator

Description: Implemented and configured a highly available 3-site replication solution using IBM Spectrum Virtualize to ensure continuous data availability and disaster recovery across multiple geographic locations. Key responsibilities included:

• Directed and supervised team of 5
• Installed and configured IBM Spectrum Virtualize 3-Site Orchestrator (version 4.1) as the active instance to manage and monitor the data cycling operations across the primary, near, and far sites.
• Set up a standby Orchestrator instance to take over 3-site replication operations automatically in case of failures or disasters impacting the active Orchestrator, ensuring uninterrupted data replication.
• Utilized command-line interface (CLI) tools to configure, manage, and switch between active and standby Orchestrator roles, ensuring high availability and failover capabilities.
• Performed configuration updates and synchronization between active and standby Orchestrators to maintain consistent settings and ensure seamless failover.
• Implemented failover scenarios, including handling failures at the far site, active Orchestrator, and near site link failures, validating the successful takeover by the standby Orchestrator and resumption of data cycling operations.
• Documented and tested failback procedures to restore the original active Orchestrator after recovery from failures or maintenance activities.

• Played a key role in the development of Forex (Foreign Exchange) products, focusing on enhancing trading platforms, risk management systems, and liquidity management solutions.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to design and implement features to meet the evolving needs of traders and financial institutions in the global Forex market.
