Project: Wheel End Planetary Drive

• Developed detailed 3D CAD models and performed weight calculations for 2-stage and 3-stage planetary drive systems.
• Designed and manufactured key components including spur gears, planet carriers, sun gears, housings with integrated ring gears, wheel hubs, parking brake pistons, and brake discs.
• Created spline data sheets and detailed component drawings with GD&T, material specs, heat treatment, and surface finish requirements.
• Conducted torque analysis, critical gap stack-up studies, and gear data sheet generation to validate load paths and tolerances.
• Selected O-rings, bearings, seals, and fasteners using engineering catalogs to meet functional and environmental requirements.
