Conducted an in depth investigation into the mechanical and corrosion properties of an 8YSZ (8% yttria-stabilized zirconia) coating applied onto an AZ91D magnesium alloy substrate. Employed various experimental techniques, including specialized alloy substrate. Employed various experimental techniques, including specialized electrochemical methods, to assess the coating's effectiveness in enhancing mechanical durability and corrosion resistance of the substrate alloy. Additionally, the surface morphology was meticulously examined using scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) techniques. The research findings were subsequently published in a technical paper.
