Job Summary:
Experienced healthcare revenue cycle professional with extensive expertise in payment posting, reconciliation, and denial analysis. Adept at ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments from Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, and patient payments. Strong understanding of EOBs, ERAs, contractual adjustments, and revenue cycle workflows. Proven ability to support teams, resolve complex issues, and improve process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily payment posting operations (manual and electronic).
• Review and accurately post payments, adjustments, and denials from ERAs and EOBs.
• Reconcile deposits with bank statements and system reports.
• Analyze payment variances and underpayments; escalate discrepancies when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with payer contracts and organizational policies.
• Identify root causes of posting errors and implement corrective actions.
• Support denial management and AR follow-up teams with payment-related queries.
• Train and mentor payment posting staff; provide ongoing education and guidance.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for payment posting processes.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and AR teams to improve revenue cycle performance.
• Generate and analyze reports related to posting accuracy, productivity, and KPIs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for complex payment posting issues.
