  • Looking after vendor management to report on slot timing and co-ordination with ground team in case of if any issue from the both side. As well as follow up for timely picking up of rejected SKUs and RTVs from IB.

  • In system audit there are system suggested locations has been provided to complete audit on the basis of ABC analysis. Also there is Raise Audit (RA) part which is a real time audit raised by OB team if there is any location where the team not found any SKU at the time of picking due to lack of replenishment or wrong replenishment like system replenishment completed but physically not done which to be audited and cleared as well as after clearing RA picking from the locations to be done and handover to OB department.
  • In manual audit part we do Putaway and Pick audit of previous day’s completed work in the locations which covers almost 40% of overall inventory.
  • Also we do ABC analysis by myself and if there is any GAP found between system suggestion and our data we also complete manual audits for those locations which system not suggested as well as we manually do item audit of some A & B type SKUs and in 15 days we complete C type SKUs also.
  • Also IPP is being maintained for the Audit team and planning of resources to complete audit tasks.
  • Cross verify of completed Audit location is being done by myself with the help of data analysis of location Audit vs RA as well random Location and Item Audit is being done.

  • Taking care of DC Hygiene, Inventory Hygiene and facility hygiene as this is a food DC and we have to maintain proper hygiene of bins, staging area and also look after for proper pest control.
  • DC process auditing and HSE auditing is a very crucial part of QA Manager which is also successfully and properly maintained.
  • Bad SLOCs like Damage, bin near expiry clearance is also a part of hygiene which is being taken care by me.
  • Salvages clearance and following up with vendors for quotation and vehicles placement also take care by me.
  • If there is any product which is expired or totally damage and non saleable is being dumped for which I have to coordinate with SLP team and local governance concerns.
  • Daily basis following up with category team to provide STOs for huge quantity but slow moving items and near to expiry items.

  • Weekly basis cross functional training is being given to the whole DC Team.
  • MHE handling training is being given for proper utilisation of MHEs.

  • While Sales team generating Sales Order for Cross Dock Articles on daily basis before EOD to follow up with vendors to ensure article to be reported at WH on the next day. There is a D+1 TAT to report the article at WH.
  • Ensuring CDFT (Cross Dock Flow Through) Articles to be inwarded and must done GRN immediately after stock has been unloaded at WH dock.
  • After GRN ensuring all generated HUs to be handed over before EOD to Transport Team to dispatch.
  • Which articles are stuck to dispatch find out the reason and ensuring clearance of the stocks and also if there is any tech glitch ensuring immediately call raise and to follow up with tech team to resolve it asap. For tech repeated issues there is a TAT of 48 hrs else we have to dispatch the same within 24 hrs.
  • On daily basis checking of WH CDFT sanity that there should not be any presence of CDFT articles without dispatch except tech glitch.
  • After dispatch within 24 hrs following up with stores to complete GRN and to report if there is any issue with articles if the vehicles report at those stores.
  • Ensuring there is no SIT pendency before EOD.
  • There is some B2B also, which has to be ensured to dispatch within the same day after getting sales orders.
  • Following up with drivers to report as early as possible and also to sales team for authorised letter and other legal documents to dispatch the orders and vehicles.
  • Besides these operations ensuring cost control over department by needed manpower as per CDFT and B2B volume on daily basis.
  • Following up with MIS team to share CDFT and B2B MIS reports to share on daily basis. I also make those MIS by myself and cross check with MIS reports and discuss for corrective action if our both reports does not match and find out the RCAs.
  • Till now B2B and CDFT accuracy report as per central report is always 100% under my concern with increase of volume in average 68% before my joining.
