I am a Masters student pursuing English Literature with five years of experience in Parliamentary Debating. My research interests lie around intersections of translation studies, postcolonial studies, queer and feminist studies and comparative literary studies. I have an affinity for Himalayan Studies and Nepali Literature.
Worked with other core adjudicators to create balanced and relevant motions for debates. Worked closely with the debating society of respective colleges to smoothly run debating tournaments with massive participation. Worked with ethics and equity committees to draft more inclusive policies at debating tournaments.
Worked personally with students from the Tibetan refugee community and local Himachali communities to assist them with English speaking skills for specific like education or employment. Collaborated with other volunteers to improve teaching plans.
Worked with an expert team of veterinary doctors, medical students, and rescue experts to participate in a massive city wide anti-rabies vaccination drive.
Assisted shelter workers in all day to day operations.
Worked under Dr Meenakshi Bharat for an international academic conference with the theme 'The Familiar and the Exotic in Language and Literature: The Politics of Perception and Representation' as an officially designated photographer and volunteer.
