  • Vendor Management: new vendor creation, keeping self in touch with existing vendors for timely stock plan, forecast, product level negotiations and cost sheet analysis, deliveries, executions, promotional events, space selling, TOT, payments etc.
  • Product Management: new product development, product sales & life forecast, buying plan, pricing, display, margins, aesthetics, usage, cost maintenance, packaging.
  • Stock Ageing & Inventory Control: with above data monitoring inventory movement on floor and applying best method like assortment change, product lifecycle monitoring, liquidations additional margin support, return to vendor etc, this needs to be done store to store to help to control increase in unnecessary inventory week cover at store and ageing stock.
  • Budget & Sales forecast: product level sales forecast basis new launches & existing range and finalizing sales & margin budget for the FY and ensuring the achievement.
  • Competition Handling: maintaining benchmark to handle the competition in better way simultaneously exploring new opportunities to let the customer feel of having a complete and unmatched range on floor.
  • Business intelligence: tracking day wise sales activity to keeping a close track of product behavior, margin & sales, and keeping a bunch of data always ready under terms of GOLY, BP% ATV, QBP, ASP, RGM, TCI%.
  • Support Function Coordination: working closely with marketing, visual merchandise team and other support function to push the sales basis pre planned events and seasonal activities.
  • Corporate sales drive: during festive and regular corporate deals need to initiate and taken care by regional manager from query to confirm order.
  • Fixture & Space Planning: to utilize maximum of given space to category ensuring a perfect implementation of MPM & also providing brands to buy space to showcase their exclusivity and increase the business by highlighting products and brand name limited to marketing guidelines.
  • Assortment Breadth & Depth: Decide on the breadth (number of product categories) and depth (number of SKUs Within each category) of assortment. Balance the need for variety with the cost and complexity of managing a large number of products.
