Project Description:

SSO Application:

Implement single sign-on settings in Appian where the end user does not need to login to Appian to access any site/page. This has been achieved by configuring SAML settings in Appian Admin console and adding the required users to the SSO authentication group for whom manual login needs to be bypassed.

Audit Report Application:

Create an application where Brookfield team can generate excel reports for audit purpose which would list down the groups and the users belonging to an application (HR Billing, Trade Confirm Process, Monthly Compliance Activities, Quarterly Compliance Activities, Data Quality Control Application) with the users’ last login time mentioned in the user details.

Data Quality Control Application:

Download csv documents using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and send the same via email to the required recipients daily at 8 AM EST. To achieve this, RPA logs into the websites of assets - Kahuku and Kaheawa I and II, puts a filter for the current month and downloads the csv documents containing meter readings.

HR Billing:

A vendor-entity combination transaction runs daily at 10 AM EST which downloads the invoices from the vendor’s websites or from a common mailbox. This is achieved using Robotic Process Automation (RPA). These invoices are then fed into Appian which extracts the information from them using IDP (Intelligent Document Processing). A redacted document is created with the first page containing the extracted invoice details and the rest of the pages of the document contains required pages from the invoice. This required document is then mailed to the Accounts Payable team for further processing.

Audit Management System:

• Was involved in developing an Audit Management System Application where Audits are created and tracked throughout their lifecycle.
• Designed task-based approval workflow where Audits are reviewed and approved by different level of stakeholders.
• Designed Process flows, business rules, Sites, Reports, Interfaces, defined application security, used Appian Smart Services etc.
• Developed pie chart to showcase count of audits by region.

OBA Banking Application:

• Developing online banking system to showcase various services for customers like Accounts, Deposits and Loans, Payments and Transfers etc.
• Design an approval to approve/reject and tasks by the payee approver regarding payee information.
• Designing interfaces, process models, custom data types, process task reports etc in Appian.

Project Description:

• Worked on Case360 and SS integration for Prudential letters:
  a) Creating templates and fields in case360.
  b) Creating sample templates to be viewed in the case folder.
• Have worked on the following POCs:
  a) Daily Report of letters generated.
  b) Weekly Report of letters generated.
  c) Have automated the STP process of taking values from the database and populating them in an excel sheet.
  d) EFax development where we are sending the PDF and a control file with it to another physical location which is different from the printing location and is then faxed.
  e) Attachment of letters i.e. attaching a letter from a physical location to a Streamserve letter.
  f) Creating a jar file and calling from Streamserve.
  g) Returning the count of rows from daily reports of "n" number of days from a java file and calling it from Streamserve dynamically and representing it in a chart using jar file.
  h) Creating a chart in Streamserve which displays the number of letters generated for all the days in the database for a given date range in Streamserve only.
  i) Calling several enclosures from one process dynamically for letters.
  j) Sending emails from Streamserve using SMTP Connector where have added from address, to address, subject and body all which can be dynamic in nature along with an attachment.
  k) Creating an HTTPS input connector and generating the PDF from the soap request sent. Also, storing the soap request in XML file using HTTP Response connector. For security, had added a password file along with private key file of the server to secure the transport layer and authenticate users.
  l) Calling Case360 web service from Streamserve using HTTPS Submit connector by providing URL, username, password, content type, HTTP version and authentication mode. This web service is used to insert an entry into Case360 database.
• Have prepared UAT help document for users.
• Have worked on load balancing servers where same Streamserve applications are created on two different servers which would be pointing to a single database which in turn would balance the load and the incoming XMLs can be dropped in any of the servers.
• Have installed SSL certificates on multiple servers including Production.
  Have generated barcodes in Streamserve which contain information about the letter ID, document type and the category of the letters.
  Experience in Design Center, Control Center, Composition Center parts of Streamserve.
• Within design Center, have knowledge of PageOut, StoryTeller, XMLOut, MailOut, RedirectOut processes and StreamIN, XMLIN events and Directory, HTTPIN, HTTP Submit, HTTP Response, SMTP and File connectors.
• Was leading the team for Streamserve upgrade to Exstream 16.6.1 without professional support.
• Exstream upgrade included conversion of code from Streamserve 5.6.1 to 5.6.2 to Exstream 16.6.1.
• In Exstream, have worked on describer, communications builder, workshop, storyboard, retouch, control center, storyteller.
• Have trained resources in Streamserve and Exstream.

Project Description:

• Have worked on AFPs and PostScript files.
• Have worked in the following functional areas for StreamServe: Billing(Invoices), CRM, Metering, Industry, CS, Retail, MOP and Finance.
• Have also created new subprojects as well as projects.
• Have been involved in deployment activities starting from actual deployment to post deployment checks.
• Have prepared Approval checklists and also taken active follow-ups to get the deployment done.
