Key Responsibilities

• Execution of different CAPEX and OPEX Projects at APL ensuring optimum safety and quality standards.
• Designing & developing new systems & processes for project execution.
• Regularly monitor all fieldwork to ensure that the work is being done as per the design.
• Preparing and updating the status for civil work at all sites and reviewing it with the management on a regular basis.
• Driving & implementing Execution SOPs for civil works.
• Tracking the expenses against the allocated budget for project roles and responsibilities.
• Checking drawing, documentation, quality and maintaining records pertaining to civil and ensuring zero NCs during audits.
• Certifying Bills related to civil works.
• Deciding the quantity of material required for civil works (for free issue / Contractor ordered material) and raising service PRs accordingly.
• Working with the consultants for the civil drawings of the project.
• Providing technical/work scope inputs, reviewing, and finalizing tender prepared by the consultant.
• Finalizing the civil work drawings of the project along with the relevant stakeholders.
• Checking drawing documentation quality and maintaining records pertaining to civil drawing and documentation for all projects.
• Coordinating with Liasoning, Contracts, Purchase, Quality, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the projects.
• Being responsible for technical co-ordination for all the civil works with internal & external agencies.
• Preparing timelines/work schedules for Civil works in coordination with the project manager & vendor/supplier.
• Executing & coordinating civil works at the site with the respective project manager & ensuring processes.
• Day-to-day Co-ordination with vendors & suppliers to execute the works as per agreed project schedule.
• Liaised with team members, stakeholders and vendors to coordinate activities, provisioning, environment setup, risk mitigation and follow-up.
• Identified areas for improvement within the department, implementing strategic initiatives to address gaps in performance or resources.
• Streamlining and updating the data in SAP in order to ease out the business processes.
• Handling the departmental IMS (Integrated Management System), CSM (Contractors’ Safety management), PSM (Process Safety management) and 5-S of Plant.
• Promoting development of vendors working at Plant through various training programs.

• Received Spot Recognition award for successful completion of construction and setup of open movie screen at APL Township.

• Quality monitoring, Quantity survey and costing, preparation of actual tunnel support system (ATSS), contractor and sub-Contractor’s billing.
