OpenShift Administration:

Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters across multiple environments.

Perform OpenShift cluster upgrades and apply routine patches to ensure platform stability and security.

Configure and manage OpenShift components such as Routes, PVCs, Secrets, and Service Accounts.

Manage and maintain OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) for dynamic and persistent storage provisioning across the OpenShift cluster.

Monitor ODF health and performance using internal dashboards and alerts to ensure data availability, durability, and fault tolerance.

Implement GitOps methodology by storing application configurations in GitLab and managing them with ArgoCD for automated deployments.

Linux System Administration:

• Provision and configure new RHEL virtual machines as per business requirements.
• Manage system-level configurations, add mount points, extend storage volumes, and perform disk partitioning and filesystem tasks.
• Regularly upgrade and patch RHEL systems according to the organization’s security guidelines and compliance requirements.
• Perform OS-level troubleshooting, service optimization, and performance tuning.
• Ensure routine server maintenance, log rotation, and monitoring for system health and uptime.

Oracle Database Administration:

• Add datafiles to tablespaces and monitor tablespace usage for capacity planning.
• Purge obsolete data using TRUNCATE to free up space and maintain database performance.
• Create and manage new schemas as per application requirements.
• Ensure regular maintenance of Oracle database servers, applying security patches and monitoring database health.

• Deploying Kubernetes and OpenShift

• Installed and configured Red Hat Quay as an Operator on OpenShift for use as a private container registry for internal application images.
• Deployed and integrated the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) on OpenShift for centralized log aggregation and monitoring of application and system logs.
