Major Projects

• Wayside Charge Controller (WCC): Worked as a system requirements design engineer in direct current Wayside Charge Controller (WCC), which is used for charging batteries of a Battery Electric Locomotive (BEL).
• UP Switcher (Battery Electric Locomotive): Worked as a system requirements design engineer in writing design requirements for power conversion system functionalities, creating diagnostic logistics, DFMEA, self-tests, reviewing schematics, modifying P2P diagrams, and deriving test plans and procedures for those functionalities.
• FLX Drive (Battery Electric Locomotive): Worked as a System Requirements design engineer in creating diagnostic logics, mapping the requirements, modifying P2P diagrams, and deriving the test plan for the Battery Electric Locomotive (BEL) project.
• Transap (Diesel Locomotive): Developed the requirement specification design spec (RSDS) by analyzing baseline data from other locomotive RSDS, reviewed proposed design changes, and successfully released the final spec.

• Software testing of dongle for various inverters.
• Debugging the issues related to the Luminous Connect App.
• Hands on experience with Modbus Slave and Tera Term Software.
• Worked on Data Analytics platform using Power BI.

• Worked on the Grand Test Auto-Locomotive testing platform.
• Performed the initial studies of AC locomotive's mechanical and electrical systems.
• Installed T-rx software and explored the procedure to do software testing.
• Benchmarking of liquid cooled power electronic converters based on device ratings, thermal ratings of converters and motor drives, volume, cooling arrangement, application etc.
• Investigated the interaction of power control of the locomotive to the electric network systems and studied the factors influencing power quality issues.
