Responsibilities:
Providing Level 1, 2 support for data applications.

The core role was to keep the application up 24/7 and to be in touch with administrators and users to help them and resolve server and application-related issues.

Maintain and manage systems, software tools, and applications.

Executing DDL and DML statements in SQL Server to analyze and rectify issues.
Knowing database objects like tables, subqueries, joins, constraints, set operators, and views in SQL and PL/SQL.
Creating and modifying the CRONTAB for cleaning up data, such as error logs, older archive logs, and unnecessary text files from the live server and secondary server from time to time, to maintain space for EOD and SOD activities and log files.

Weekly meeting with the client to discuss the WSR (Weekly Status Report) for ongoing issues and escalations. Provide on-call support.
