BIG DATA Testing: Data Migration Project. We used Agile methodology to ensure a fast and quality project for the customer. Responsibilities include test environment setup, test document creation, assigning tasks, and working on test execution until closure. As the onshore test lead for the project, 

I performed the following tasks:

  • User stories committed to in an iteration are accepted in that iteration
  • Progress is constantly being made and completed iteratively
  • Story point estimates are provided as a team, and tasks are broken out and estimated by hours when necessary
  • Time is charged to the appropriate task for accurate burn down
  • At least two iterations' worth of backlog user stories are available
  • Highest priority user stories are brought into an iteration if capacity allows
  • Process improvements and impediments are tracked and communicated
  • Analyzing rules for test data, and identifying and masking sensitive test data to meet security requirements and business data rules of integrated systems
  • Listen to teammates, help when possible, and communicate to understand the vision
  • Estimate user story complexity compared to the base user story
  • Provide high-level estimates on cost and hours back to the product owner
  • Complete task estimates and charge time to tasks as they are worked
  • Know which user stories will be brought into the current iteration if capacity allows, and ask questions if user stories are not understood
