- Main lead of propulsion systems all kind of propellers & shafts, stem tube bearings calibration, renewal, renew stem tube seals propellers and shafts dismantle, calibration and overhaul with new spear parts etc.
- Side thrusters dismantle, calibration, renewal with new spears and installation.
- Rudder, Rudder stocks, pintle, steering gears and hydraulic pumps calibration, repair, renewal with new bushes and alignments.
- All kind of machinery works.
- Participated in an approximately $10 million repair project for the Floating Storage Regasification Unit as the vessel’s machinery in charge.
- Participated in the dredger repair project as the vessel’s machinery in charge.
- Consulted with the ship owner regarding machinery repair jobs.
- Attended daily VSCC meetings and provided timely updates on the progress of the repair jobs status.
- Liaised and coordinated with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Drafted and tracked documentation that is required for billing. (i.e., Job order variation, work completion form, inspection form, and time sheets)
- Delegated jobs to supervisors, sub-contractors’ foremen.
- Planned and deployed manpower required for the jobs in accordance with the budgeted man-hours.
- Monitored and supervised the work of sub-contractors to ensure that quality, workmanship, and safety conform to the company’s standards.
- Ensured that all standard operating procedures complied with specifications, quality standards, and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Drafted and briefed relevant parties on the Job hazard analysis and Work Method statement for high-risk activities. (i.e., propeller blade removal and complex lifting)
- Raised purchase requisition via the SAP system for works that require a quotation.
- Assisted the Project manager in preparing the work plan and repair work status.
