I have substantial expertise gained from working in various business areas and products within Barclays, such as Personal Cards Collections in (BFA), Business Cards: Barclays Payments Issuing (BPI), Merchant Services: Barclays Payments Acquiring (BPA), and Customer Services for Personal Cards.
I am currently leading a team as a People Leader in Retail (Everyday Customer Care) and as a people leader, my responsibilities encompass:
- Overseeing a large and diverse team of Personal Bankers (BA3) and managing their daily operations to ensure adherence to procedures and policy guidelines
- Assisting the VP/AVP in maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensuring conformance delivery at the site level on a daily basis
- Driving NPS (Net Promoter Score) improvements for the team through effective coaching and feedback
- Managing team performance, ensuring alignment with the CMP framework, and guiding the team toward set objectives and goals
- Assessing and monitoring performance, tracking progress for those on Performance Improvement Plans (PIP)
- Handling escalations and resolving complaints at the site level
Analyzing site-level detractors and presenting insights to enhance overall NPS performance
- Supporting various teams and colleagues, including fellow People Leaders (PLs)
- Mentoring new People Leaders
- Managing the recruitment process by conducting group discussions and competency/value assessments for candidates, in collaboration with HR
- Providing comprehensive support to Personal Bankers (BA3) throughout their roles and establishing clear expectations for bankers, fostering a culture of accountability and high-performance standards
- Championing diversity initiatives within the workplace, promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities for all the colleagues
