• Ensured supplier delivery performance & customer order promise dates above 95% consistently.

• Handling Ferrous Casting parts such as Blocks, Heads, Flywheel Assembly, Flywheel Housings, Manifolds, Bearing Caps & Non-Ferrous parts like Rocker Covers, Oil/Water pipes worth annual spend value of 17 million USD.
• Responsible for Floating RFQ's, settling commercials, supplier selection, development of parts for suppliers supplying across Caterpillar global facilities.
• Devising and executing localization and resourcing activities for casting category parts
• Coordinating with the vendors for development of the parts and submission of the initial samples and completing PPAP's with support of Supplier development engineers
• Formulating contractual terms with suppliers for long term agreements and association with capacity allocations
• Analyzing the impact due to raw material price changes, foreign currency fluctuations and settling price revisions

Accomplishments:

• Successfully completed on time development of Cylinder Head, Block & 8 other parts for Electronic Engine

• Handling Project bought out components buying. Project buying worth 20 million USD for Dairy product processing.

• Handling Engine components such as Camshafts, Valve train components, Pistons, Oil Pumps, Fuel Systems worth annual spend value of 10 million USD.

Accomplishments:

• Developed 14 Camshafts & Rocker mechanisms as per the project timeline giving benefit 1.2 million USD.

• Handling commodities such as Machined parts, Metallic Pipes (Charge Air Pipe, High Pressure & Low-Pressure Pipes etc.), Engine parts (Piston, Camshafts, Valve Train components, Gearboxes, Clutches etc.) and Tyres.
• Worked for sourcing of trim parts for brief period Seats, Sun visors, Gear shift knob, door handles.

Accomplishments:

• Developed 38 unique Euro IV Engine parts as per the project timeline.

• Setting up & managing the price contract settlement and costing of the Semi-Finished Components, finished components and services purchased.
• Executed commodity buying value to the tune of 20 million USD for 3 locations in India.

Accomplishments:

• Identification and driving cost saving projects to the tune of 0.6 million USD.
