- Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Model & Momentum Contrast for Unsupervised Visual Representation Learning
Implemented a DDPM for animal face data, experimenting with different backward inference times and computing FID . Applied VAE for class-conditional DDPM in latent space with classifier guidance. Developed a self-supervised learning system using Momentum Contrast Encoder (MoCO) with multiple augmentation methods, reducing the need for supervised data. Implemented a linear classifier and compared results with a full CNN. - GMM, Vanilla-VAE & Beta-VAE Implementation
Constructed a Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) using EM algorithm on image data downsized to 28x28 pixels. Implemented Vanilla VAE with MSE for conditional likelihood and Beta-VAE with varying beta values. Visualized reconstruction and generation performance, documenting the impact of changing beta on model results. - Deep Convolutional GAN & Wasserstein GAN
Trained a DCGAN on animal datasets with standard GAN loss , plotting Generator and Discriminator loss curves. Experimented with training cycles for both networks, observing behavior changes. Extended the approach with Wasserstein GAN for improved stability and quality of generated images. - Depression Detection Using Speech & Text Analysis
Developed a deep learning model for depression detection by analyzing speech patterns and textual data . Employed acoustic feature extraction and sentiment analysis to capture relevant symptoms. Built models with SVM , CNN , LSTM , BiLSTM , and Transformers to classify depression levels, validated on test data for accuracy and reliability. - Community Detection & Link Prediction in Social Networks
Implemented Louvain algorithm and spectral clustering for community detection in a Facebook dataset . Applied Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) for link prediction , using Metropolis-Hastings sampling for positive and negative sample generation. Achieved ROC-AUC score of 0.96 for link prediction between network nodes.
