Intelligent Control Algorithm for Unified Power Quality Conditioner to
Enhance Power Quality in Electrical Energy Systems
- We are using UPQC (Unified Power Quality Conditioner) to Improve the Quality of the electrical power in the power system.
- The Power Quality are Decreasing due to increase in harmonics in the transmission line which is because of increasing no of non-linear load applied to the power system.
- Harmonics can increase up to 70-80% in a normal transmission line.
- But using UPQC can Decrease the harmonics from 70-80% to nearly 11%.
- It can also compensate the disturbed voltage and current supply but inserting inverter voltage and current to the transmission line.
