ETL & Data Testing: ETL validation, data quality checks, transformation testing, data reconciliation, workflow/job validation, incremental/full load testing, regression testing
Project 1: BI Source Migration to Workday(Talent Match/TCR/Cardinal Health)
Role: Lead ETL Tester | Tech:SQL, SSMS, DataStage, WinSCP, ADLS,Fabric, Power BI
Project Overview:
Validated ETL pipelines migrating HR data from Oracle systems,MatchMaker and excel files to Workday and downstream BI layers(DB2,Fabric) . Performed SQL-based source-to-target validation, transformation logic verification, incremental load testing, and effective-dated data checks. Tested Workday extracts (employee master, job, employee demographic data, employee history data, compensation, org hierarchy etc) and validated refreshed Power BI dashboards for HR KPIs. Logged and tracked defects in Azure DevOps, ensuring accurate and stable data flows post-migration.
Project 2: Pipeline Snapshot Historical changes
Role: ETL Tester | Tech: SQL, DB2, MS Fabric, Tableau, Azure DevOps
Project Overview:
The project focused on enhancing the historical load and reporting accuracyof daily SFDC pipeline snapshots. Data was ingested from SharePoint, loaded into DB2 via Datastage, further processed in Microsoft Fabric, and finally consumed in Tableau. The goal was to ensure accurate consolidation of historical and current pipeline data for business reporting. Performed end-to-end ETL testing for SharePoint → DB2 → Fabric → Tableau pipelines.
·Validated historical SFDC snapshot loads, source-to-target mappings, and transformations. Verified Tableau datasets, logged defects in Azure DevOps, and collaborated on issue resolution.
Project 3: Microsoft Fabric Migration for Finance BI Ecosystem
Role: ETL Tester | Tech: SQL, Azure SQL DB, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, Azure DevOps
Project Overview:
The objective of this project was to migrate all Finance BI datasets and reporting pipelines from the existing Azure SQL Database to Microsoft Fabric. As part of this modernization, all Finance reporting models in Azure Analysis Services (AAS)—including FP&A, Controllership, and other financial dashboards—were reconfigured to point to Fabric as the new enterprise data source. The migration aimed to enhance performance, unify the analytics platform, and improve scalability for Finance teams. Performed end-to-end ETL and data model validation during migration of Finance datasets from Azure SQL DB to Microsoft Fabric. Validated source-to-target mappings, transformations, Fabric lakehouse views, and ensured accurate data reconciliation for GL, P&L, Budget, and Forecast.
