Nav Jevan Nursing Home Noida- I helped in the management of a free medical clinic that took place forth nightly on Sundays. No sooner did it start in the year 2016 than it drew hundreds of people living in the nearby slums. Although the original aim of the camp was to provide free routine health check-ups and medicines for health ailments such as cough and fever etc, we soon expanded the services to identifying bigger underlying health conditions that many of these patients were not even aware of. This was often detected by doctors while treating them for their seemingly innocuous symptoms. The team struck a collaboration with a hospital, which would carry out medical tests at discounted rates.

I began to derive spiritual pleasure from the opportunity to play my part in the alleviation of fellow human beings' sufferings during those four hours of volunteering every alternate Sunday for more than four years. The clinic had all types of doctors from dentists, eye doctors, general physicians, and orthopedics. Etc. We also had free facility for providing X-rays and other tests. Free medicines were provided to those in need. But for the past two years, this has been paused because of the outbreak of pandemic.

As a junior member, I completed a one-week training at the fast-food chain Subway to learn about running a restaurant and managing the kitchen. Learned about the functioning of the online website of Subway and learnt how they make advertisements.

I also collaborated with kitchen staff to ensure that the orders were on time and there were no complaints by the customers.

In the month of June-August 2019, I helped my father in office work in the beginning of lockdown and helped in building of salary slip of staff members on excel. During the lockdown the workers needed money and ration, so my father decided to provide the labors with their salary. I collected the bank account numbers, names, Aadhar Card numbers and put them in an Excel so that the banking part could be done by my father easily.
