• Business Review & Reporting: Monthly & Quarterly Review & publishing the reports through different reporting tools.
• People Management: Managing, Coaching to Sourcing Managers & Sourcing leads & sharing Category expertise knowledge to other team members

• Plants: Pan India (2 Plants in Vadodara, 1 Plant in Delhi, 1 R&D center at Hyderabad & 8 loco sheds across India)
• Spend Management: INR 100 Crore (Indirect Goods & Services 60 Cr and Logistics 40 Cr)
• Vendor Base: Approx. 500 (Across Globe with 80% from India)

Key Result Areas

• Category Lead for Industrial Equipment & Consumable, Utilities, Logistics & Facility Management for all plants across India
• Lead contract negotiation and management for Indirect Goods & Services like Indirect Materials, MRO, IT/IS, Office supplies, Logistics etc.
• Part of the bid preparation team to ensure correct cost estimation, budget and deliverables for bidding in global projects.
• Active contribution in change management and process transformation activities like introduction of Vendor Managed Inventory.
• Responsible for on time deliveries of materials and services and P2P process.
• Additional responsibility to manage the Indirect Goods and Services for Bombardier Aero China & Singapore locations.

Achievements :

• Successfully Implemented E-Catalogue mode of procurement as part of IT systems development which has resulted in an accrued saving of 15% over existing spend and reduced the lead time of PR to PO by 20% after introduction of this platform.
• Introduced Trader model and add value optimization (extend Payment terms from 60 to 90 days, supplier, consolidations)
• Active involvement towards green purchasing initiative of Organization
