Interests claims - Securities payables

• Process includes creating new cases, chasing ongoing query mails both internal and external, claim payments and report making as for internal and external meetings.
• Starting with, Acknowledging claim request that we have received from our client/custodian.
• Locating trade in relevant booking platforms ( FISS/GOS/IMPACT) with details provided in that claim letter.
• Filing claim request with trade details as a case in Salesforce application and providing case ID to claim sender as our reference.
• Investigating root cause for trade fail and concluding investigation whether we are liable to pay or to reject with proper evidences after liaising with FO/MO/Ops accordingly.
• Reaching out to FO regarding incorrect or late bookings, to MO regarding amendments or late allocation, to pre matching team regarding late matching, to settlements team regarding firm short or Client short, process delays, failing receipts, settlement email trails.
• Requesting approval from our trading desk in case of booking error or if paying for maintaining client relationship, from VP/Director of respective Ops team for other kind of Barclays responsible errors as stated below at Bloomberg interest rate or US fed rates.
• Raising callback to verify client SSI before making any claim payment which will be completed by internal static team. Based o provided SSI, payments will be made via Fed wire as CPP or MT103 & MT202 for alert clients and non DTCC clients.
  Else, rejecting claim request in case of client being error party for subjective failed trade.
• Closing the case in our work queue after client acknowledges their receipt on our claim payment, and while any withdrawal of claim requests by client after our rejection as invalid request.

• Promoted as Assistant Manger/Analyst via IJP
• Responsible for settlement of transactions involving products such as bonds, municipal and equities
• Handling billing/deliveries & non-billing/deliveries of all the above mentioned products
• Tools used for processing : IMPACT, IPERO, DELPHI, INTELLI MATCH, CAT, BPS224, FISS etc.
• Performing month-end and quarterly tasks such as extracting and referring journal entries of settlement deals for above mentioned products for record keeping
