• Present emphasis is on BIW product design using CATIAV5, PLM & Team center software.
• Working on BIW (Floor assy., Rear wall assy.,) and Frame assy.
• Design and development of body structure as per given gateways, and release to represent design strongly and effectively in gateway-related meetings and reviews.
• Preparation of the entire family tree (assembly sequence of body structure).
• Responsible for the creation of body structure as consideration of sections on Catia V5, manufacturing feasibility, design rules, assembly sequence, joining strategy, packaging, function, materials, weight, and CAE results.
• Driving Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to improve cost efficiency, material utilization, and overall product value, without compromising on quality or performance.
• Leading continuous improvement activities focused on reducing development time, enhancing design efficiency, and optimizing costs.
• Designing and developing tooling and BIW fixtures for automotive components for Tata Motors.
• Conducting feasibility studies and simulations using Hyperform, AutoForm, and DELMIA to ensure manufacturability, and optimize processes.
• Providing detailed feedback and implementing improvements based on DFMEA outcomes to enhance product reliability and performance.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality departments, to align design objectives with production goals.
• Actively participating in design reviews to incorporate client feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinating with suppliers and vendors for tooling development, and ensuring adherence to project timelines.

• Develop new designs and customized existing model based on customer requirements
• Performed all necessary drawing conversions required by customer such as pdf files, tiff, jpeg and dwg/dxf file
• Designed innovative solutions to drive quality improvement in the manufacturing process
• Develop Multi Cavity Mold Design for Complex Products
• Review part models for mold-ability, sufficient draft and shut-off conditions
• Prepare part models for mold design (cleaning up model, adding draft, defining parting lines)
• Prepare multimedia presentations of mold designs

• Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible
• Inspect product materials and electrical systems for defects and durability
• Identify the root of technical issues and recommend fixes Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions
