• Responsible for New Product development and deliverables as per project timelines in 3 different swimlanes i.e Vehicle, Battery & Charging Infrastructure for Signal Harness, Switch, Overmould Battery Harness, Cables,Connectors,Lugs etc.
• SOR/Feasibility review with supplier for requirement alignment with technical team.
• Ensuring Capacity of the suppliers in alignment of Ather's requirements to meet capacity ramp-up volumes.
• PPAP readiness as per project timelines ensuring no risk to quality and delivery during audit as well as smooth transition to achieve ramp-up volumes.
• Quality issues resolution during development phase.
• Bi-weekly review meetings with Ather's Top management to update on developmental activities, Risk identification & its mitigation.
• Periodical Supplier Audit for critical parts and regular process audit (monitoring of NC and audit points)
• Developed and implemented strategies/policies to improve New Product Development methodology in Ather (APDS system)
• Coached, mentored and trained team members in order to improve their job performance (Direct Reportees: 3 nos & Indirect Reportee: 1 no)
• Monitored reportees performance and addressed issues through quarterly pitstop review as well as yearly appraisal review.

A) New Product Development as per MMA (Mahindra Manufacturing Approval) through which parts handled were Exhaust system,Air Filter, Wiring Harness, HVAC assembly, Roof Headliners etc.

• APQP Project timeline adherence as per MPDS guideline,
• Project review Meeting along with CFT members,
• Supplier Capacity Analysis along with 4M risk analysis,
• FTG Planning & monitoring,
• Quality build concerns along with action plan & cause analysis with quality review meetings for domestic as well as international customers,
• Manpower planning in terms of their availability & training as per requirements,
• DVP Planning & actual result monitoring,
• FMEA review & linkage through PTDB & Applicability matrix,
• Shopfloor readiness in terms of line layout along with material flow, Project vehicle build wise Risk Identification-Risk Escalation-Risk Mitigation.
• Run at rate which includes PTR at PP phase along with HVPT before SOP phase with PSW confirmation.

B) MSES (Mahindra Supplier Evaluation System):

• Conducting Supplier Rank Up activity based on MSES standards which includes implementing World Class practices for yearly selected supplier’s through MSES enablers like TPM, VSM, Critical Tier-II upgradation.
• Co-ordinating with supplier to achieve Result Indicators (3MIS, PPM Equivalent, Inhouse PPM) as well as Process Indicators (Warranty -Information & Cause analysis, NC management, Change Management, Operator & staff meeting, Abnormal situation handling, Shop floor management etc.
• Planning of Training Need Identification with MSES Supplier to improve supplier end competency/skills thereby nominating supplier candidates to learn key Quality/Productivity tools through MIQ.
• Planning and implementation of digitized systems at suppliers end to support to achieve process excellence.

• Complete part development which includes supplier selection & it's evaluation, part feasibility study with supplier, sample approval in terms of its dimensional inspection, material & performance testing
• Handled international customer quality concerns & its periodic progress control & analysis
• Internal review along with Global Purchase & SQA Head on departmental deliverables & daily quality issues & its progress control
• Mapping of supplier performance in terms of Quality, Delivery adherence, Kaizens etc
• Monthly review with Global Purchasing Head on worst suppliers
• Solely responsible for localization/alternate sourcing
• Analysis & control of suppliers to ensure the availability of parts, raw materials in accordance to their quality & environmental specifications
• Managing the supplier development program & monitor the effectiveness of the development plan Vs actual on a regular basis & working on its continual improvement
• Responsible to conduct yearly supplier audits as per VDA 6.3 standards & thereby monitoring & maintaining vendor ratings
• Review & interpretation of child part drawings along with the design team for its manufacturing & inspection feasibility.

• Holds the distinction of validating of HVAC assembly & its child parts approval in terms of its performance testing, material verification, process capability, dimensional inspection and fitment trials
• Chalked out the action plan & ensured the resolution of the problems faced during sample submission
• Twice Won the Quality Champs 2011 & 2013- Inter Subros Quality Quiz Competition
• Have handled team of 5 members in Supplier QA which includes Receipt Inspection, Cause analysis, New Product Development along DV & PV testing's.
