I am a passionate MD in Radiation Oncology with a keen interest in advanced radiation oncology techniques, particularly in Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and hypofractionated stereotactic radiotherapy (hFSRT). My expertise extends to a comprehensive understanding of Clinical Oncology practices, encompassing chemotherapy for various solid malignancies. I have actively contributed to cervix brachytherapy (ICBT) and assisted in few interstitial brachytherapy procedures. My clinical interests is primarily in Neuro-oncology, where my passion for utilizing innovative techniques intersects with a commitment to enhancing patient care. Outside of my professional pursuits, I find solace in reading books and Gym.

Radiation Oncology Senior Resident: AIIMS

- Comprehensive Training: Extensive clinical and academic training in radiation oncology over 3 years post MD in AIIMS jodhpur. involving managing Radiation Oncology OPD: being a central institute with advanced multidisciplinary setup catering to a large state allowed an exposure to a significant number of cases . EBRT: Oversaw external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) using LINAC (ELEKTA Versa HD) and Monaco TPS for all sites. Had to manage 2 LINAC with 60+ patients on each couch using advanced (IGRT/IMRT/VMAT) besides maintaining 2D and 3DCRT cases.
- Stereotactic Procedures: comprehensive training in Stereotactic radiosurgery procedure. With independent hands-on experience and performed 50+ radiosurgery procedures for various indications in brain.
- Neuro-cognitive evaluation of all patients using detailed neuro cognitive battery of tests in association with clinical psychology department.
- SRS Program development: Played a key role in establishing the SRS program at AIIMS jodhpur by collaborating with Neurosurgery and Neuro radiology department. The SOP was developed after detailed literature review for the procedure and oversaw the Quality check with close collaboration with Medical Physics team and detailed patient data was collected and evaluated to ensure accurate treatment and outcome.
- Multidisciplinary Program: contributed as the departments Lead SR in Pituitary board and Neurooncology tumor board. Thus collaborating with Neurosurgery/Neuroradiology/ endocrine and pathology department ensuring effective and comprehensive patient management.
- Brachytherapy: Conducted over 150 cases of cervix brachytherapy with Microselectron ( ELEKTA 30channel) with ONCENTRA TPS. Hands-on experience in ICBT (Intracavitary Brachytherapy) and IVBT (Intravascular Brachytherapy), and assisted in MUPIT and interstitial brachytherapy for breast, thigh, and lip malignancies.
- Cytotoxic Chemotherapy/IPD: Administered cytotoxic chemotherapy for all solid malignancies as part of there neoadjuvant/adjuvant/concurrent and palliative setting, upto second line and third line protocols also immunotherapy. Also managed symptomatic patients in IPD.
- Patient-Centered Care: Enhanced patient satisfaction through effective communication, empathy, and active listening. Improved outcomes by implementing evidence-based care plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Literature Review and Application: Conducted thorough literature reviews, applying findings to clinical practice and sharing insights with colleagues through presentations and discussions.
- Teaching and Mentoring: Conducted seminars and presentations for undergraduates, B.Sc. radiotherapy technologists, and MD teaching programs.
- Research and continued education: principal investigator : " Neurocognitive and radiological changes in brain SRS". Updated clinical knowledge by attending conferences.
