• Managed project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion within budget.

• Requirement gathering, development life cycle, unit testing, and deploying financially critical Python automated applications to ingest raw files and perform operations as per client requirements.

IDEA

• Development of an efficient and robust product(web-app) which can migrate whole database(s) to another database(s) in just few clicks. Furthermore, my role was to develop REST APIs using Flask which extract the data from different files and database sources into Pyspark dataframes, perform transformations and load the result into database. Few of my APIs was to perform data-reconciliation, data-profiling and data validation on source and target databases/tables using pyspark dataframes after migration is done.

NBCUniversal (Talend to AWS Migration)

• Migration of around 100 Bigdata applications from Talend to AWS environment usin Python scripting for ETL and AWS S3 for storage.
• Tools/Technologies used : Talend Studio, AWS S3 and Athena, Shell and Python scripting

NBCUniversal (Bedrock to Talend Migration)

• Migration of around 100 Bigdata applications from Bedrock platform to Talend using Talend Studio for ETL and HDFS and AWS S3 as storage. My role was to use Talend components to perform ETL and to use crontab to schedule the jobs.
