Statiq is a Series A ($ 25 million) funded company backed by Shell Ventures, Y Combinator amongst other marquee investors. Statiq develops one stop EV Charging infrastructure through its in house designed and developed Cloud Software/SaaS Solutions. Statiq also designs and manufactures its own chargers as an OEM. Statiq has one of the largest charging network in the country and is amongst the top 3 CPOs

My role and journey so far at Statiq has been as follows-

  • Achieving Top-Line Revenue by establishing successful Partnerships and Developing Key Accounts and selling Turnkey Solutions
  • Leading the OEM Business and have scaled it upto an ARR of ₹150 Million
  • Responsible for maintaining P&L for EPC projects and Statiq’s CPO Business. Leading a team of 10 BDs/Senior BDs stationed across major cities in India
  • Scaled Statiq’s CPO business at PAN India level and developed an Energy Dispensing capacity to 15.7 MW Public & Residential Charging
  • Onboarded, Developing & Managing accounts of major Automobile OEMs (2 German, 2 Korean & 1 Indian) for EPC Projects and cross-selling of Statiq’s other Businesses (SaaS/Aggregation & Chargers’ Sales)
  • Developed Partnerships across major Indian Hospitality Brands to acquire premium Real Estate to increase Statiq’s presence for its CPO Business
  • Established and nurturing relationship with major IPC & Real Estate Consultancy companies to create an additional Business Chanel. This Chanel has helped in acquiring 6 major Builders’ Accounts across India till date
  • Worked and created different roadmaps to increase the reliability (able to achieve 94% uptime from 86% in 7 months) of Statiq’s Fast Public Chargers
  • Designed and developed different models and campaigns resulting in 18% MoM growth of acquiring new users on the App resulting an increase in the utilization of Statiq’s Public Chargers (able to achieve a 4.8% increase in utilization in a span of 2 quarters) resulting in achieving operational profitability

FunctionUp is a YC (W21) backed, Pre-Series A funded company that helps early career aspirants to launch their careers across Technology, Data Analytics and Sales domains. The company was acquired by Classplus in early 2024.

  • Built and scaled entire B2B function from 0-1. Reached a scale of INR 60 Million MoM Revenue.
  • Set-up and led a team of 15 Sales Reps, 8 Lead Generation Executives and 1 Senior Manager.
  • Designed and set up KRAs and KPIs for the entire B2B team & Strategized outreach model targeting CHROs and CXOs. Achieved a 212% increase in the input metrics enhancing the output metrics by 86%.
  • Generated a revenue of approx INR 10 Million (1 Crore) individually.
  • Led GTM for 2 new cohorts comprising of Data Analytics & Sales and generated a revenue of INR 4.8 Million (48 Lakhs) in 5 months.
  • Created Hiring and onboarding plan for Sales Reps.
  • Partnered with approx 200+ Hiring partners with within a year including BlinkIt, Freecharge, Reliance, Navi, InCred, Coverfox. NoBroker. Resulting in Re-occurring Business.
  • Built and designed processes and solutions to improve client retention rate from 11% to 24%. Contributing in repeat revenue.

  • Joined Newton School at pre-series A Stage and was a part of the core team, played a vital role in driving revenue, building and scaling up the Sales and Sales Operations teams from the ground-up, resulting in over 15X growth over 12 months.
  • Generated a revenue of approx. INR 5 Crore (50 Million) from January 2021 till March 2022 individually. 118% over the set quota.
  • Led a team of 8 Sales Reps, 1 Delivery Associate and a Key Accounts Manager. The team was a top-performing team (in terms of revenue and accounts' retention) for 5 months on trot.
  • Onboarded clients like Amazon, Swiggy, Policybazaar, Chegg, Danaher, Reliance, Sumo Logic amongst a few.
  • Trained and mentored new Sales Reps on product knowledge, outreach, objection handling, and pipeline management.
  • Played a vital role in setting up the B2C engine.
  • Worked with the lead generation team to set up an efficient flow of inbound leads that improved the intent level and increased the conversion by 14%.
  • Worked on Key Accounts along the Key Account Managers and setup processes for controlling Churn Rate and up-selling, resulting in INR 1.2 Million/month contribution in revenue.

Tacnik was originally founded in 2017 as an Experiential Event-tec company by leveraging AR, VR and IOT and then pivoted to Samaaro. Samaaro is a Seed Funded B2B SaaS based Virtual Events Platform.

Joining a relatively small team in the beginning, got an opportunity to wear multiple hats.

Business Development | Strategy | Account Management

  • Set up the sales engine for Samaaro - (Tacnik's SaaS based virtual events/event marketing platform) and built a team of 7 Sales Reps and a lead channel by syncing up with the Marketing Head. Drove a revenue of approx. INR 12.8 million in 6 months (July-Dec 2020).
  • Ran platform demos for clients across international (Australian, South American & UK) markets and helped in increasing win rate by 12 %
  • Conducted an extensive market research on Virtual Events' space across India and Europe to understand the offered products deeply by the existing players, to assist the in-house product team.
  • Established Tacnik's B2B industry-specific engagement business(es) by successfully evaluating the opportunities, building strategies, generating leads, and acquiring key stakeholders as clients across sports (IPL, ISL & PKL), entertainment (Comicon, food fests, etc), and Infra and realty (Malls' festive engagement) industries.
  • Closed new business(es) and streamlined transition of accounts to customer relations department.
  • Onboarded and managed accounts like Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, Bengaluru Football Club, Pro Kabaddi League, DNA Networks, Lionsgate, Select Citywalk, and Ambience Mall to name a few.
  • One of the projects led by me won a silver medal in the "Innovation in Augmented Reality" category by WOW Asia Award 2020.
  • Ensured effective communication, both internally and externally, to ensure smooth and timely delivery of the product.
  • At times, I had to write newsletters for the company's monthly mailer.
