My Passion for Running Marathons
Running marathons has become more than a hobby for me—it’s a way of life. Over the past 10 years, I have completed more than 50 marathons, each one a journey of endurance, determination, and self-discovery. This commitment to long-distance running is sustained by a disciplined daily training schedule, which begins early each morning with focused runs and strength conditioning.
Equally important is my conscious approach to eating. Nutrition plays a crucial role in performance and recovery, and I make it a point to fuel my body with wholesome, balanced meals that energize and sustain me. This lifestyle requires discipline—not just in training and diet, but in how I approach life itself.
Marathon running has also taught me the value of taking risks and pushing boundaries. It has instilled a mindset of perseverance and grit that spills over into every area of my life. Cycling, which I enjoy as a cross-fit hobby, complements my running routine by building stamina and offering a refreshing change of pace.
One of the joys of training is the opportunity to explore. Living in Goa, I find great delight in discovering new routes—through coastal trails, forested paths, and scenic village roads. Each run offers a fresh perspective on the beauty that surrounds me and deepens my connection to the land I call home.
Marathon running has become not just a physical pursuit, but a spiritual and mental discipline—one that continues to shape who I am and how I live.
