Planning and execution of LV network improvement schemes based on SAIDI(System Average Interruption Duration Index and number of breakdowns.
Analysis-based maintenance to prevent LV network breakdowns.
Commissioning of LV/HV switchgears, transformers, UPS systems, stand by diesel generator and its testing for quality delivery to consumer.
Frequent site visit to supervise the implementation of network refurbishment as planned while adhering to safety measures, durability, quality standards as well as good engineering practices.
Conduct regular inspections (safety walk) to identify and report unsafe act and conditions as well as ensure corrective action through FFA (Field Force Application).
Responsible for Cable faults finding the LV distribution network and managing them in a way that will cause minimal disruption to the consumer by load calculations, studying single line diagram, network diagram and load transfers.
Ensure adherence with government agencies and other interested parties to seek the required licenses and permits for the project implementation.
To provide technical guidance and problem-solving about the technical challenges encountered while executing the respective projects.
Modification, modernization and standardization of Tools and PPEs to increase safety.
Ensure adherence to OCP (Operating Control Procedure)to avoid having any fatal mishaps during the operations.
Efficient and Effective utilization of available resources i.e. Budget planning, Vendor development, Service entry sheet and Material reconciliation.
Preparing and updating network modification using drawing software GIS after required network testing on site after work completion on site.
Preparation of Monthly reports using software like SAP and BI production, deducing results by applying different calculations and providing suggestions for lagging parameters and continual improvement.
Act as an Electrical inspector and site engineer in charge to approve any load extension/reduction, new connection or solar roof top connection of consumers.
Resolution of conflict, communication, and coordination with interested parties.
Contribute to achieve compliance of GERC regulations and guidelines.
Identification and implementation of plans and actions aligned to the certification of IMS(Integrated Management System) of 5 ISO standards in Torrent Power
Periodic review and documentation to comply to integrate 5 ISO standards i.e. ISO: 9001(Quality), 14001(Environment), 50001(Energy), 45001(OHSAS) and 55000(Asset).
Played pivotal role in achieving Certificates and Standards such as “5S”, “BSC 5 star”, “TPM” and “EFQM” implementation.
