The “Functionalization of Magnetotactic Bacterial Isolates and Their Nanoparticles for Potential Applications in Biomedicine” project focused on the isolation, screening, and characterization of magnetotactic bacteria from various soil samples. The project employed a variety of advanced microbiological and analytical techniques to thoroughly investigate the properties of the isolated bacteria: 16s rRNA sequencing, SEM with Edax imaging, XRD analysis, and FTIR analysis. As part of the project's outcomes, two bacterial gene sequences were successfully isolated and characterized, and subsequently uploaded to the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database, contributing to the broader scientific understanding of magnetotactic bacteria and their potential in biomedicine.Functionalization of Magnetotactic bacterial isolates and their nanoparticles for potential applications in biomedicine, Isolated magnetotactic bacteria in different soil samples, screened and characterized. Various techniques like 16s rRNA sequencing, SEM with Edax imaging, XRD analysis, and FTIR analysis were done. 2 bacterial gene sequences that were isolated and screened were uploaded to the NCBI platform.
