Santragachi Jheel: A Photo Essay

• Santragachi Jheel was created by humans. The lake area is owned by India's South Eastern Railway, while it is also managed by West Bengal's Forest Department.
• A robust scientific management plan must be created as soon as possible to address these issues and restore the Jheel as a waterfowl habitat
• The ultimate goal was to reintroduce migratory birds to the lake by cleaning it up

• In this study, an essential oil of clove, Syzygium aromaticum was used to formulate a water-dispersible nano-emulsion which was further sprayed using an Air Gun, to produce aerosols.
