Anita Mahajan Lohokare

Started the first Franchisee of Eurokids in Pune and have seen the market and product evolve ever since. Have had the privilege of impacting 2000+ children and young parents. The job involves every aspect of an organisation and I am deeply involved in operations, finance, administration, HR, infrastructure, health auditing, training besides day-to-day teaching. In the pandemic we switched to the online format of facilitating learning and switched back to in person at the end of it.

JLC is an experiental learning centre. I was part of a 3 member team which visualised it and brought it to existence. It involved understanding how children learn and how to provide it. This involved a deep observation and assessment of children and their families for understanding the child.

Joined as a Management Trainee in the Costing Department and grew into various roles since. Handled day to day costing functions - stocks, statutory audits, costing of products and major orders. I handled and devised the system for Intracompany overhead allocations. Moved to working directly with the Leadership team in 1994. Was Executive Assistant to Mr. Farhad Forbes, Co Chairman, Forbes Marshall Group of Companies. Some of the things I handled was debt recovery systems, divisions order and sales performance, pricing of special projects. Was part of the team that implemented the ERP system. I was a mentor to new joinees too.
