Leading project which generate reports for Profit and Loss Attribution test and FRTB that assesses how well a bank's internal risk management models align with its front-office trading models.

Responsibilities:

• Implemented the spark based application for different calculators to compute P&L and coverage ratio with VaR.
• Developed databricks scripts in azure shell to deploy spark jobs,notebooks,jars and dbfs files for non-dev environments over azure databricks.
• Developed more robust applications by adding the unit test cases , integration test cases and generating the code coverage/ health check reports.
• Build end-to-end deployment pipeline for application by developing shell scripts , Azure ADO pipelines , approval sign-off and sanity checks report.
• Along side with regular work also been involved in developing innovative applications like log analytics scala based API/ common function library which can simplify the new development ,data egress from cloud to on-prem system from various data sources.
• Developed multiple DQ jobs to track the PROD events or exceptions . So tracking any events would be easier for restricted environment like PROD.
• Always prompt to resolve the PROD issues while working on development tasks.
• Worked in Agile methodology and good team player.
• Honored with Bravo award for excellent delivery under Market Risk Backtesting Project. Also UBS certified engineer under Data Engineer category.

(Project : Cisco Onesearch IT, USA)

This project is to manipulate the user search activity and generate the report over kibana dashboard about their activity status.

• Roles:
• Written spark jobs to process and transform base layer data and then store it into elastic search index.
• Verify the transform data using elastic search queryDSL .
• Worked on enhancement to spark scala applications to store data into GCP bigquery,PUBSUB,Cloudsql.
• Developed ML application using python which inputs from elastic index then apply NLP algorithm and store the result into other elastic index.

The project is centered on providing the client required matrix that are calculated from base layer in Hive.The required matrix can be used for generation of annual and monthly reports for the client

This project has the mutual funds transaction's and associated portfolio data which is store in base layer(hive table) and then using spark the process data is shared to the client in the form of reports .

• Roles & Responsibilities:
• Developed Spark jobs using Scala to implement business logic transformation from raw data
• Worked on spark core for efficient job execution and debug spark job for bug fixes.
