Client: Regions Financial Corporation, AL.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Development of new AML scenarios, end to end, based on requirements provided by the line of business to generate alerts.
• Sounding knowledge on the alert generation process (AGP).
• Customize the existing scenarios based on the requirements given by the line of business.
• Data analysis and loading various sources of data for scenario development.
• Learned and customized CTR UI for better processing of cases, reports, and E-files.
• Collaborated closely with project managers, designers, and other developers in order to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Debugged existing application functionality to identify areas of improvement.
• Design the ETL process for loading data from ODS to SAS databases.

Project Title: SWA Staging Application.

Client: Motorola.

Project Description:

The product data will be coming from UPD (Unit Personality Data), and claims and global hierarchy data will be coming from GSPPR (Global Service and Product Performance Reporting), with exchange data coming from independent source systems. These data will be extracted into the SWA intermediate database after the required transformations. If the data does not need any manipulations, then that data will be directly loaded into the SWA database.

This will be created by the Informatica tool and will have its own setup, like the intermediate tables and target tables. Informatica mappings, sessions, and workflows will be created to extract and load the required information from sources into the SWA staging database. SAS will extract data from this SWA staging application, and it will load it into their data mart. For further analysis and reporting, as per the requirements of the client.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performed Data Cleansing operations using SQL queries and PL and SQL functions for transforming the data from source to target systems as per requirements.
• Maintained version control system using GIT Repository Manager tool.
• Imported and created source and target definitions from relational and flat file sources, also designed the mappings, and worked with these sources, transformations, and Mapplets in mapping using Informatica Designer.
• I have extensively worked on developing an ETL program for supporting data extraction, transformations, and loading using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Creating mappings and enhancements of mappings.
• Creating sessions and workflows.
• Worked extensively with complex mappings using expressions, aggregators, filters, lookup, and Update Strategy to develop and feed into the Data Warehouse (Data Mart).

Project Title: GCT-DM

Client: GCT

Project Description:

The project is about developing, marketing, and sales of DWH. To collect, in a central location, all the data needed to make the 14 marketing and sales reports pertaining to the 2006 reporting requirements. The current reporting environment is in MS Access. The marketing director of reporting currently has to consolidate data from a multitude of places; the operational database (ODS) would eliminate this manual data consolidation process.

The elements needed were identified by studying the current MS Access reporting environment, and some additional elements were identified by looking at the frequently used reports in ORBIT, the operational reporting environment of GCT.

This ODS would contains data on reservations, promotions and product build, inventory, cost & planning, live forecast and customers. The primary source of data would be GRET,ESSBASE, and EPSILON.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Worked on Informatica Designer Tool’s components – Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Transformation Developer, Mapping Designer, and Mapplet Designer.
• Working with various transformations to clean the data from the staging area as per the data warehouse requirements.
• Worked extensively with mappings using expression, joiner, sorter, aggregator, filter, lookup, router, and Update Strategy transformations.
• Scheduled workflows on the Informatica server using the Informatica Workflow Manager.
• Creating mappings and mapplets by using different transformations.
• Designed data source tables, target tables, and imported metadata definitions for the data warehouse using the Informatica ETL Tool Designer.
• Implemented best practices while developing ETL packages like error handling, logging.
• Created SQL Server Integration Services packages for incremental and full loads of data from various sources.
• Evaluated source systems data quality and identified opportunities for improvement.
