Data Controls:

Role: Offshore Team Lead – Data Quality Management for EDL Files

As an offshore team lead, I played a key role in overseeing and executing critical data quality checks across a large volume of EDL files— approximately 6,000—within strict SLA timelines. My primary responsibility was to ensure that only clean, reliable, and consistent data was ingested into downstream systems.

To achieve this, I implemented a comprehensive set of automated data quality controls, including:

· Column Sum Control – Verified the consistency and integrity

of numerical data across files.

· Empty File Control – Flagged and excluded empty files to

prevent ingestion errors.

· Schema Validation Control – Checked incoming files against

expected schemas to identify structural mismatches early.

· Duplicate File Control – Detected and blocked reprocessing of

already ingested files.

· Record Count Threshold Control – Monitored significant

deviations in file record counts to identify potential data

anomalies.

Through proactive monitoring and strong coordination with both onshore and offshore teams, I ensured zero SLA breaches while maintaining high standards of data integrity and operational efficiency.

Dashboards Building using Power BI:
Role: Power BI Dashboard Development – Data Visualization & Client Reporting
As part of the data analytics initiative, I was involved in designing and building interactive dashboards using Power BI to deliver actionable insights to clients. This involved integrating data from multiple sources, transforming it for consistency, and presenting it through intuitive visualizations that supported decision-making.
Key responsibilities included:

· Importing and modeling data from various sources such as SQL databases, Excel, and cloud platforms

· Developing dynamic dashboards and reports with drill-down capabilities and KPI indicators

· Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into impactful visualizations

· Ensuring data accuracy, performance optimization, and timely delivery of reports
