1.Maintenance

• Spearheaded SAP-based spare preparation and inventory management for CSP caster, ensuring 100% equipment readiness, optimizing stock levels, and minimizing downtime and procurement delays.
• Led and participated in shutdown and breakdown maintenance activities for the Thin Slab Caster, while ensuring equipment reliability and uptime by developing and optimizing preventive maintenance strategies based on condition monitoring and historical data.
• Drove continuous improvement by participating in Lean CTR, Quality Circle, and Kaizen projects targeting equipment performance and process stability.

2.Planning

• Conducted delay and failure analyses using Root Cause Analysis (RCA), developed and implemented CAPA plans, and ensured compliance—resulting in a 15% reduction in equipment downtime and improved long-term reliability.
• Generated and analyzed monthly MIS reports on cost, downtime, and mechanical maintenance KPIs, while monitoring oil consumption and ORM data to support proactive maintenance, enhance decision-making, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Coordinated with the central maintenance and reliability team to streamline outsourced maintenance workflows and ensure timely, efficient service delivery.
• Utilized SAP PM module for maintenance planning and execution, including notification tracking, work order management, BOM validation, and performance analysis (MTTR/MTBF) to ensure system compliance and reliability.

3.Audits & safety

• Actively contributing as a team member in the Focused Improvement Pillar under the pilot implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) at the caster, driving structured problem-solving and loss elimination initiatives.
• Led the development and maintenance of IMS documentation to ensure alignment with company policies, regulatory standards, and audit readiness. Supported this framework by reviewing and updating SOPs and HIRAC documentation to integrate risk mitigation strategies into maintenance practices
• Served as department auditees during internal and external audits, including PSM and FPS audits by DSS+, ensuring compliance with ArcelorMittal and IMS standards through disciplined planning and robust documentation; also led departmental efforts in the Central Corrosion Cell, driving corrosion management initiatives to safeguard and enhance long-term asset integrity.
