Was managing a technical pod of 7-8 team members centered around automation of Supply chain processes in new Lenskart manufacturing factory in Bhiwadi.

-> During the first year, worked on development from scratch of multiple supply

chain workflows like Exception Management System,Tray management System,Consolidation System ,Warehouse reassignment workflow,Lens Picking system, Espresso/OMA management system to name a few.Also worked in improvement and stabilizing existing SCM system supporting existing factory.

-> During the second year worked extensively with entirely new integration with third party warehouse automation providers, Addverb. Following are key modules I worked upon:

1.Automated storage and retrieval system : Complete overhaul of existing picking system and its interaction with inventory management system.The task of manual retrieval and picking was delegated to Quadrons(robots) .This helped in quick ramping up of the new facility and supporting 50% load of the existing lenskart order volume.The intgration was developed keeping in mind the requirement to serve 5x of the current order volume in new facility.

2.Store/DC sorting :This was another integration meant for mechanical sortation of shipment based on shipping address of store post packing. This was earlier managed manually by warehouse team by scanning each and every shipment and manually consolidating them.

Plutus: Payment downtime notification service

• Worked closely on spec finalization with product team as well as technical discussions with vendors.
• Developed the module to integrate third party payment gateways to get signals about prevailing success rates for different payment instruments e.g Netbanking,UPI.
• Worked on the integration with payment service backend to update near real time messages about downtimes on all client channels.

Payment Service

• Took the ownership of complete payment backend powering both RummyCircle and My11circle.
• Worked on lot of functional integration with new partners as well as improving existing processes like payment processing,success rates improvement,monitoring,streamlining automated reconciliation process.
• Worked on performance benchmarking with load testing and finalizing the resource allocation for IPL 2021

Pokus: In House experimentation engine

Developed an in house A/B experiment platform to accommodate both client and server side experiments and help PMs to do more accurate analysis.Worked both as an individual contributor and then mentored a team of 3 members.

• Provide a single service to configure any kind of experiment for all line of businesses
• Exclusive features like seamless experience for users on part of an experiment across platforms/devices
• Develop features to more accurately qualify attribution.
• Work with Data engineering team to develop an analytics pipeline to achieve the eventual goal of the framework: analyze the experiment data and measure performance.

CDF: Common Discounting framework

The team is responsible for facilitating discounting with coupons and vouchers to all the major line of businesses(LOB) within MakeMyTrip like Hotel,Flights,Bus,Int flights ,Intl hotels,Holidays,Activities etc.

Worked as an individual contributor as well as managed a team of 3 members.

• On boarded new Lobs like VISA,Bus,Activities and Gift cards.
• Was hands on and quickly ramped up on all the functional flows the application was serving for different use cases.
• Initially worked on fine tuning the GC issues as well as the betterment of caching layer.
• Improved the functional flows after discussion with revenue mangers and product owners for different LOBs.
• Code refactoring to enable the new lobs onboarding easier.
• Also managed the communication and facilitated the response to end users of the application. The responses needed to be prompt as application was highly critical and issues normally directly linked to decline in conversion rate.
• The team also helps quick resolution of user queries as well as quick detection of fake claims in case the use case is technically too strong for customer support to handle.

Jcp Paas: A complete end to end solution for

• Users to raise platform creation/migration requests with required features using a portal and a dashboard to track their requests.
• Platform support team to create and migrate the platforms and update the status for the same.
• Notification schemes to notify the stakeholders about the activity on the platform.
• Automating the tasks like webserver version changes, configuration management etc.

DTP(Dev tools platform):

• A Desktop application that enable developers to have a local development platform to develop,test and validate the code before releasing it to test environments.
• The tool also enabled developers to clone the test environments on their local machines to replicate the scenarios for the bugs encountered on test environments.

Amadeus cloud services(ACS)

• Worked during the POC phase on Openstack orchestration templates to create dynamic stacks on openstack cloud.
• Java framework to enable dev to invoke Amadeus cloud services to spawn docker containers on the Vms provided by openstack stacks.

Software workbench

• Worked on the development of the framework on top of Jenkins Pipeline to establish a continuous integration and delivery workflow for native mobile apps team.
• Worked on the integration of in house mobile cloud to enable developers to test the mobile apps on physical devices without manually connecting them to their own machines.

GLE - Global Load Engine

• A java based tool to automate the deployment process of release packages on Test Systems platforms and maintain a dashboard for the same.
• A platform signifies a group to interrelated clusters of webserver,application servers and Application Db servers.

eBiz - a portal based service provider to register new businesses in India)

• Develop the component National Service Delivery Gateway(NSDG) which would enable the message transformation and route to various State/Central government departments in a form that is understandable by the backends
• The component ensures the message delivery as well as callback to Infosys systems with an appropriate response.
