  • Leading F&A service delivery for captive as well as few third-party clients across business – Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Pricing, Legal, Payroll, Resource Planning and Taxation.
  • Identified a potential saving of $5Mn by monitoring revenue leakages vis-à-vis cost savings through apt resource planning at airport per flight departure, specific to Aviation Sector

Record to Report, Fixed Assets, and Inter-company Accounting

  • Periodical closure of books of accounts
  • Preparation of financial and management accounts which includes accruals and prepayments, revenue/cost, review, bonus, bad debts provisions, FA creation/depreciation, ledger scrutiny and analysis of material variances from budget and forecast
  • Maintaining balance sheet integrity & identify risks and opportunities

Indirect Tax compliance

  • Preparation/Review of Indirect Tax returns like service tax, luxury tax, VAT, withholding tax, consumption tax, fringe benefits tax, goods and service tax for different markets as applicable
  • Functioned as consultant for the business/processes that understand the transactions, giving them the E2E solution
  • Tax positions on any new cost allocation set-up, any new structure to be set-up, new corporate office of IHG at any location etc
  • Representing IHG before tax authorities in scrutiny assessments & Appellate proceedings

Accounts Receivable (Reservation to Cash)

  • Monthly contractual and miscellaneous billing to hotels based on their agreements
  • Track and review of monthly trend of revenue to ensure that there should not be any revenue leakages
  • Responsible for regular service delivery, monthly management reports, MIS, Global scorecards, DSO calculations, etc
  • Bad debts provisioning, monthly closure of sub-ledger and management reporting
