- Instrumental in drafting Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policy and implementing occupational health & safety management programs and reviewing their efficiency and effectiveness regularly for continual improvement.
- Responsible for incident investigations and root-cause analysis of reported near-misses & incidents to implement corrective actions and prevent the reoccurrence of such failures.
- Assess training needs and impart tailored job-specific occupational health & safety training to regular and contractual employees from time to time.
- Plan and execute awareness programs related to fire safety, occupational health & safety, and environmental pollution control.
- Ensure availability of resources, safety equipment, and personal protective equipment at the workplace to protect against human injuries and property damages.
- Responsible for preparing emergency response & disaster management plans for the company. Conduct mock drills to check the effectiveness of the plan at sites to handle on-site and off-site emergencies.
