• Resolving breakdowns & managing maintenance of Pot Tending Machines (PTM), WMI, FAFECO & scheduling inspection of all the cranes, rail, spares and managing the same
• Executing predictive, preventive & breakdown maintenance schedules to prolong life of equipment as well as conducting regular inspections, repairs & replacements of spare parts to control plant operations
• Coordinating with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of job
• Identifying the areas of bottlenecks & breakdown; taking steps to achieve zero accident & customer complaints through the application of troubleshooting tools like root cause analysis
• Performing risk management to minimize job risks
• Responsible for creating maintenance orders, plan labor and material required to execute the order
• Handle long- and short-range planning
• Track the Asset Life Cycle of Mechanical Equipment and prepare the road map to optimize the same
• Maintain bill of materials (BOM) information for every asset within area of responsibility
