In my role as a DevOps Release Engineer and L2 ETL Engineer, I have honed my skills in a variety of DevOps tools, SQL, Teradata, Unix, Autosys, and GitHub Cloud. I manage the DevOps processes for the GDW environment, utilizing a suite of tools to ensure seamless operations. My responsibilities include deploying and validating production changes, as well as developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity.

I take pride in performing thorough analysis of production issues, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to provide permanent solutions and high-level suggestions. My expertise in ETL debugging, Teradata, Autosys, and Unix enables me to effectively address complex challenges.

I thrive on interacting with Subject Matter Experts, business partners, and both technical and non-technical users to translate requirements into valuable outcomes. Additionally, I maintain detailed documentation of release processes, ensuring clear guidelines for future projects and facilitating knowledge transfer within the organization.

In my role as an IT Specialist, I've cultivated a diverse skill set in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, Teradata, DataStage, and SQL Profiler. Lead the team in DirecTv Project.

My responsibilities included monitoring the Production and fixing incidents and problem tickets, enabling and monitoring SQL Server jobs, and code review before it moves to production.

Managed access and other database-related issues, providing necessary permissions to users and team members in the ERMS and e2 applications.

I enjoy collaborating with my team, assisting them with tasks, and attending Scrum calls to ensure smooth project execution. I also take pride in providing knowledge transfer sessions to new joiners.

In these projects, my responsibilities encompassed the development of SSIS packages, utilizing tools such as SSIS, SQL Server, Visio, Visual Studio, and TFS. I focused on enhancing existing ETL processes to better serve business needs and was actively involved in testing and troubleshooting system design and process issues. Additionally, I was responsible for updating data within repositories and the data warehouse.

I participated in team and Scrum meetings organized by the Application Specialist and Solution Architect, contributing to collaborative efforts and strategic planning. I effectively communicated the entire ETL process design using the Visio tool, ensuring clarity and understanding among stakeholders. Furthermore, I provided customer support related to database storage, data handling, and access issues, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Working under Shell Client, I was responsible for the data conversion and migration module. My tasks included creating SQL Server Agent jobs for data extraction and understanding the data format and design of the current legacy system. I aligned these with the business requirements for the target system (GSAP) to effectively convert source data to the GSAP format using SQL and MS Access. During the requirement specification phase, I collected requirements using third-party tools and analyzed and documented all SQL objects for each application using SQL Profiler.

I developed SSIS packages for migrating data between different SQL servers, ensuring error logging and resolution. Additionally, I created new databases and assigned access to developers and testers, while also creating SQL objects and resolving issues related to stored procedures, triggers, and indexes.

My role involved migrating database objects from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2008 R2, performing data loading and backup restoration using SQL Enterprise Edition. I generated analysis reports, ran batch jobs, and engaged in discussions with the functional team (clients) to understand their expectations.
